Location and Parking

The swap will take place under the Lansdale Park Pavilion, 8201 Roos @ Mary Bates in Sharpstown
If the parking lot is full, there is plenty of street parking along both Roos, Mary Bates and Waldo

Sign-in and registration opens at 9:30 am

When you enter the swap, your first stop will be the plant take-in tables – please remember to label your plants and be sure they are well-watered

Volunteers will hand you a card indicating how many plants, seeds and other items you brought

Once you have your card, proceed to the first tent where you will receive your swap tickets, door prize entry and other items.

How the plant swap works

You will receive a ticket for each plant you bring (up to six)
The swap will be held in eight rounds – each five to seven minutes with a break between each round
You may use one ticket per round
You may leave your newly traded plants at the plant sitting station staffed by student volunteers and pick them up at the conclusion of the swap

Houston Parks and Recreation and Harris County Precinct 4 will have family-friendly activities. Bring the kids!
